About the Artist
Years as a preschool teacher helped me realize how important play is! From a skill of crewel embroidery, I turned to detail drawings with watercolors, 3-D boxes embellished with recycled materials.
Moving to New Mexico, I looked at terrain differently. Dried elements put together from nature became sculpture. The birdhouses I make always have one or more birds in the construction. Just as our homes are reflective of who we are, each birdhouse mirrors, in a playful way, his environment.
